| I came out as a naturist in 1982, followed by an article in Health & Efficiency magazine (January 1983), after many years as an indoor closet. I never had pyjamas, and hated wearing many clothes. I frequently visited Eureka Naturist Club (in Kent) when Mark Wilson was there, and swam regularly with the North London Naturist Swimming Club. Now at a mature age, my naturism is mainly confined to indoors (when it is warm enough), but I am enjoying a renaissance by joining naturist groups, so I can meet, socialise and go public again! I still enjoy the freedom of nudity, but I don't feel the nagging self doubts of youth. My body is past its best now, but do I care? The joy of maturity is the ability to be oneself with the confidence and wisdom of life experience. There is no need to impress anyone, anymore - just being ourselves is sufficient. To feel with the soul is the aim. To touch the ground, reach for the sky and sense with all the senses - the real meaning of life. It is a very spiritual thing. Let go, and enjoy! Want to join me?
